It’s a beautiful morning so we wondered if we should do more exploring this morning! We had a wee nap early 😴😂 And now we’re getting ready to head out! (You may notice we love a wee day time nap…this is something we started enjoying last year on our year off, and we’re sort of keeping it going this year 😂)
We think it’s important to finish the circle around the land we feel God has spoken to us about! So we want to keep exploring until we feel that assignment is complete 😃🙌 Also, we’ve been asking the Lord a lot about finances and how we’re meant to pray about them! We think He’s said He wants to be our sole provider and so we want to walk that faithfully with Him ❤️ We’ve asked a lot to make sure we’re hearing Him correctly and we think He keeps confirming that it’s Him we’re hearing and we’re to keep going this direction, which is so kind of Him to keep encouraging us 😃 He’s been speaking to us a lot from the book ‘The Circle Maker’
Yesterday I was wondering if we needed to finish our exploring assignment and then we might get ‘paid’ for that work being complete? Not quite that, but like there was something significant about finishing that assignment! And this morning I had a wee chuckle at the verse for the day…you can click here or view it in the images below
Cue some driving……
We’re just home from an EPIC day adventuring and exploring the borders!!! Neil did a little work on the map before we headed out to see where we should go today and as we looked at it we realised we only had a few more places to visit before we completed the circle of where we think we should ‘set our feet’ 😃🥳 or at least phase 1 of our area! So today we headed east and completed that side of the boarder and hopefully tomorrow we’ll get the west side done and then we’re all done just before we take next week off for our son’s school’s half term 🤩🥳
We started off this morning in Kilrea. We prayed for families, blessings on businesses and schools, and as we walked and prayed the word that kept coming to my heart was ‘hope’! We also prayed that the churches would be filled and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit would come and as people met with Jesus their hearts would be captured by missions and missionaries would be sent out from Kilrea all over the world 🙌 From there we headed to Portglenone. As we walked around we remembered that Summer Madness is held there. The last time we had been there we had been going through a pretty painful time, and so we took time to really thank God for where He’s brought us to now and how we’re in such a different place 🙌 We thanked Him for walking us through all that mess and pain and for all the healing He has given us 😭❤️🙌
Then we spent time thanking God for Summer Madness and all the incredible work they’ve done in so many peoples’ lives.. including our family 🙌🙌🙌 As we walked around we noticed the river and it felt like Psalm 23 – still waters ❤️ From here we went on to Toome. As we prayed we invited The Holy Spirit to bring peace to peoples’ hearts that may have been filled with fear over the years, and for healing for generations of families who have lived in pain. We came to a well in the street and we remembered how Jesus had really significant encounters at wells in the bible. So we prayed that people would have significant encounters with Jesus at that well! And that, as we planted our feet in that spot, revival would come to that area ❤️🙌

In Antrim we prayed for an end to the drug problems 🙌 We prayed for the schools, the police station & a fire station and we prayed for a decrease in unemployment as the jobs and benefits office is beside those 2 buildings! We prayed that the people of Antrim would find purpose in their work ❤️ We prayed as we walked passed churches and we prayed blessing over churches that we know of in the area and thanked God for them being In Antrim!
Again we saw some ‘still waters‘ and invited God’s presence to flow through Antrim and bring healing to hearts and minds ❤️ We thanked the Lord for the creativity, community welcome, and the family memories that happen in Antrim Castle Gardens ❤️😃 We went from Antrim to Larne, with a mini ‘setting our feet’ in Ballyclare on the way!
As we arrived in Larne we were met with a massive statue of a royal crown in the middle of a roundabout! We prayed that God would be the only king of Larne! We didn’t have much time at this point of the day because we had to be back for the school bus and we still needed to get to Glenarm 😬 But we were able to get a walk around the Main Street. As we walked and prayed we thanked the Lord for the regeneration that has already started to happen in the town 😃 We prayed for friends of ours as they lead their church in Larne, and for other churches too and for God’s Kingdom to come 🙌 As we walked, we prayed for healing and hope for people! We asked for restoration and redemption for families and marriages and we prayed against drug problems! As we drove out the other side of Larne on our way to Glenarm we were totally blown away by the stunning beauty of the coast line ❤️❤️❤️
Our final stop for today was Glenarm! We again thanked God so much for the impact of Summer Madness and prayed that they would have left a long lasting impact Spiritually on Glenarm ❤️🙌
We really didn’t have much time left but we parked and again were so struck by the still waters ❤️ We walked passed a primary school on our way into the wee Main Street and we again prayed for education! Earlier in the day we had prayed that God would put people in the education authority to write genius education plans for future generations, that it would be like other times in history when followers of Jesus came up with incredible plans for society or inventions that changed the course of history 🙌 It felt like so many of the places we went today had these incredible stone arched bridges, and Glenarm was exactly the same 😃 As we drove on, we quickly jumped out of the car to ‘set our feet’ and pray blessings over Broughshane! We also saw a church called ‘New Dawn’ church in Broughshane which we thought was so great, and prayed God’s blessing for them 😃❤️
We can’t remember which town we were in today (maybe Kilrea?) and we prayed that just like in the Bible, the river of God’s presence would flow deeper and deeper the further away from the temple it got ❤️❤️❤️
What a brilliant day 🥳
