Pulling teeth and encouraging finds

This morning we were praying about laying down disappointments we’d been feeling and facing over these last couple of weeks. We confessed what we’d been carrying and declared again how much we trust the Lord. I know it feels like we’ve been talking a lot about this but we really are OK – we just want to be honest about the journey we are on.

We are feeling it but we will refuse to make partnerships with the disappointment!

I (Janet) got down on my knees and I just told The Lord we were desperate – desperate for Him to move! Desperate to know Him and bear Him better! Desperate for His provision! And I asked for financial provision as we are pretty close to the edge now financially. This week we have bills to pay and so we have simply asked The Lord for His provision, trusting Him as our source. We always want to have faith, and trust in what we believe God has said to us, and so we want to practice living like that…but we never want to be entitled or demanding! We believe we’ve heard God inviting us to live this faith life, and we believe He’s promised that He will be our provider, and so we’re really asking Him to help us to learn how to journey this with Him! So we practiced trying to have humble and bold faith, and asked that we would see some provision and financial encouragement this week, and even today please.

This feels like a change of direction, but bare with me 😂 I have broken a filling in my tooth and have to go to the dentist today (in fact I’m writing this while sitting in the dentist waiting room!) I don’t know how much this appointment is going to cost?!

Well, just after praying earlier, Neil went upstairs and found £80 in his drawer that we had been given a couple of weeks ago that we thought was gone!!! Thank You Lord!!!!!  I’ve brought it with me to the dentist just incase it’s enough to cover the bill?

In between praying and coming to the dentist, we did a bit of work on our talk for the leaders day on Saturday which was fun 😃

Also, I was reading a bit more of the Circle Maker – and guess what, he was talking about how to push through disappointment, and how often times, just before the breakthrough, we feel like we’re losing it and are about to fall apart, which is exactly how we’re feeling right now! And it feeds on from Sunday when God was reminding us that opposition confirms we are heading the right way!!! Thank You Lord!! We recognise, and receive, and are so thankful for, Your leading and Your provision ❤️🙌

Woooooo hooooooo!!! I’m just out of the Dentist and the bill came to £64, and they took cash!!!!!! So, in ways like we’ve seen Him do so so many times before, God not only gave us the money we needed for today, but like in the story of the loaves & fish in the bible, we ‘gathered baskets of leftovers’ with our change too 🥳😭❤️🙌

Thank You Lord!!!!
