Donegal Completion

The best word we can use to describe our adventures today is WOW ❤️We headed out this morning and took all day to drive and prayer walk around the rest of Donegal 😃 We honestly experienced the most stunning views! We were blown away again and again by the stunning beauty of God’s creation ❤️ And the weather was perfect 🥳

We ended up either walking around, or quickly stopping to ‘set our feet’ and pray in 21 different places today 🥳 And each one held its own unique beauty! We prayed for blessing, God’s presence, and revival in each place we prayed! It was fun imagining what it would look like for revival to break out in the most rural places around Donegal – it felt like we could see it 🥳❤️

We visited the most beautiful little towns, like Glenties, Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh etc… Each of them have different stories to tell. We have good friends who grew up and ministered in this Irish speaking area of Donegal and it was cool to know some of the stories of how missionaries had visited these places and seen the Holy Spirit touch the lives of people here. We thanked God for how no corner of the globe is too far away for Him. Many of the towns had a sweet sense of God’s presence. Glenties was a personal favourite for us 😃 It was a really sunny day and there was a little vegetable market stall set up on the street! There were some people sitting around outside enjoying the weather, and people felt so friendly 😃

We ended up in Donegal town for lunch. It was a sweet place with an amazing town centre gathering place. We didn’t get as long to pray here as we’d hoped but we thanked God for the impact this town had on the spread of the gospel throughout Donegal and asked if there could be a move of His spirit again in this place. It was so fun to dream over each place we visited about what it could look like for the Kingdom of God to break into communities- for religion to be torn down and people’s hearts to be softened and opened to meeting GOD ❤️🥳🙌 We worshipped as we drove, and as we walked, and as we set our feet 🙌

We were getting back up near the border towns of Killygordon, Castlefinn, and of course Lifford which is the town that sits right on the border with Northern Ireland. We prayed again for the healing of religious hurts in our country and that bigotry of the past would be wiped away as God establishes His Kingdom here in greater measure. We then prayed in Strabane and a couple more places, Artigarvan and Donemana, in NI and again prayed blessing, and incredible outpourings of God on each place! We also prayed against bigotry and hatred here and instead invited the peace of the Holy Spirit to flood the streets and people’s lives ❤️

What a brilliant day! This felt like a special one ❤️🙌
