I (Janet) just wanted to write a wee overview of life in theonehundredyearsproject this week.

It’s actually been a good week for us in terms of our mindset and God has been speaking a lot through what we are learning. Both the blog we wrote earlier this week, and the podcast, highlight some of those learnings around His promise and His testing. We love how God will speak and help us to articulate how we are feeling just when we need it.

I know we’ve said before that we have some family things going on at the minute and we’re sorry we haven’t been able to fully share about that on here. If it only affected us we would happily do that but we want to respect the privacy of the rest of our family ❤️ But this week has seen a big ramp up in some of that which has taken a good bit of our attention and time. Please pray for God’s peace in that situation. Our son has had school exams happening, so we’ve been trying to help him get ready for those! Haha, Neil’s been so invested with that that it’s nearly felt like he’s doing exams too 😂 He, however, is not sitting exams even though the photo below looks like he is!! But he is keeping on writing his book 📖❤️ I’m so looking forward to seeing it completed – it’s brilliant 🥳

This week we started thinking a bit more into the community prayer stuff that we’d shared a little about a week or 2 ago. I actually met up with one of the leaders from our church this week about some ideas around all of that which was so exciting! Neil & I believe it’s important that this particular part of theonehundredyearsproject would be submitted to our church and run in partnership with them 😃🙌 We can’t wait to see how this idea develops and what the Lord has in His heart in this moving forward ❤️ We’ll fill you in on it all as things take a bit more shape 😃🥳

We’re also excited to share that in just a couple of weeks’ time we’re getting together with our prayer team for our first gathering ❤️ We know that we can’t do any of theonehundredyearsproject dreams on our own! Firstly, as we’ve talked about so often, we can, and will, only do the things we feel the Lord is opening to us and inviting us in to, and in the time and way He wants those to happen! And secondly, a wee while ago we felt God invite us to gather a few people together as a prayer team, and so we have done that and can’t wait to get together for the first time very soon 🥳🙌❤️

We also received some difficult news regarding the health of a good friend of ours on Wednesday so on Thursday morning we headed to meet with some people to pray together for a miracle healing ❤️ It was a really precious time and we feel full of faith for the turn around to come 🙌❤️

Finally, this week marked the end of the football season for the team that Neil has been coaching. The extra space will be good but he will miss the boys and seeing all the progress they have been making.

All in all, we fit in a lot this week and are going to enjoy a little day off today.
