It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. 🎶🎄🥳❤️🎅🏻🤗 Woooooo Hooooo!!!!! This is my (Janet’s) absolute FAVOURITE time of the year 😃😃😃 I love it all – the carol services, seeing friends and family, wrapped-up walks on freezing cold days, all the food 😂 the twinkly lights, the Christmas movies snuggled under a blanket…and my favourite part – time off together with my gorgeous boys ❤️🎄🤗 And I love looking back and seeing all the amazing ways God has met with us and everything He has done throughout the last year – He is SO WONDERFUL 🙌❤️

We’re actually going to do a separate wee blog post about this last year soon, so I’ll not go into all of that on this one 👍 But I’ve already been remembering so many moments, and I feel beyond thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness and all His incredible surprises that have blown us away this year ❤️❤️❤️ This week we’re really trying to get everything wrapped up so we can start our Christmas holidays at the same time as Caleb. 😃🎄

So we’ve been recording podcasts; we have one more to get done! And we’re also trying to pull together little moments from podcasts throughout the year so we can run a fun little end-of-year roundup type video over the holidays. 😃

Neil’s still working away on his book – he’s at the stage now where he’s been able to get a draft out to a few people to get some feedback for edits, etc. He’s starting to get some of those editing ideas back in now, which is super helpful and encouraging 😃 So as we head into Christmas and New Year, he has a bit more clarity on how to keep moving forward to get it all finished 🥳 I’m very excited about this project!!!

This weekend I’m teaching at our church, so I’ve been trying to finish off my talk for that! I’m a little nervous, you know, this isn’t my favorite thing to do, but I also really want to say ‘yes’ and offer it as a worship gift to the Lord, so I am really thankful for the opportunity to do that – and I’m praying that the Holy Spirit moves through what I share and people meet with Him ❤️🙌 Outside of the writing and recording stuff, we’re doing lots of other fun ‘getting ready’ things for Christmas, which I LOVE 🎄❤️

So it’s a fun wee week, and we’re excited to take a little time off for the next couple of weeks and celebrate 🎄❤️🥳 (We hope to send out a couple of timed blog posts and podcasts while we’re off, so we won’t totally disappear 👍) I hope you have a WONDERFUL Christmas, and that you know the nearness of the Father ever increasing in your life over this precious season ❤️🙌🤗
