The weeks really are flying by in this new year! Last week ended up being a busy week with lots of different things popping up!

We welcomed back Miracle Halls for 2026 🥳 Unfortunately, it was a super rainy day, and so it was hard for people to stop in the street for a chat, although there were a few waves and hellos, and one guy did pop over for a wee quick chat, which was cool! Sadly, there had been 2 elderly people from the community who had passed away last week, and so their funerals were happening both on Wednesday and Thursday. As a team, it was our privilege to pray for the community as they grieved, and we also got to pray in the community centre for families to meet with the presence of God as they came in to remember their loved ones ❤️

Then last Thursday we had the joy of welcoming a couple of friends from Asia. Three years ago, Ashish and Kristin came, along with their four kids, and spent three months in our community as they prepared to take over the leadership of their group of churches. We just loved hanging out with them over the months, so when we heard that Kristin and her son were in the UK for a conference, we were delighted that they were able to make the jump over to hang out for a wee quick stay with us. We spent Thursday evening and Friday hanging out with them and a couple of friends, sharing stories (and food), and dreaming about all that God is doing and about to do. We were so excited to hear all that God is doing over there, and we hope that we can make a trip out there soon to help them with the amazing work they are doing.

Over the weekend we were busy with football (as usual 😂) and then Janet was leading worship at our church on Sunday morning.

Hello – Janet here 👋 It is always such a joy to be involved in worship, and on Sunday I had the absolute joy of having Caleb on the band too which was amazing! Spending time in the presence of Jesus, worshipping Him with other people is such a gift, and I just keep getting blown away by His goodness and kindness as we meet together in our gathered spaces ❤️🙌

This week has started off pretty quietly really! We had a wee hang out with some friends and we decided to take yesterday as a wee day off which was lovely and chilled ❤️

Tomorrow we are heading over to the Chroma church leadership conference in Leicester until Monday! We are so excited to get around what the Lord is doing with these Guys, and can’t wait to spend time with them 🥳 We’re getting ready for that today, along with getting a wee podcast recorded and heading off soon for this week’s Miracle Halls 🙌
