We had such a wonderful day at Miracle Halls yesterday! We had been praying in the morning for a breakthrough in the community. We long to see the King and His Kingdom breaking out in people’s lives!
We can see with our eyes the physical area where we meet to offer prayer, and we know the stories and reputation that have come from there (not all bad, but not always good). BUT, we can also see spiritually what the Lord is doing in the area! We can feel and see heaven’s stories being released in people’s lives, and we have faith to believe that that’s what we will get to see in time there ❤️🙌
Over the weeks and months we have been doing Miracle Halls in this area, we have slowly been building some relationships with people as they walk by going about their days, but we long for more! We have had the privilege to pray with people on different occasions, but we haven’t seen immediate miracles breaking out in their lives in those moments, and we are desperate for them to truly meet Jesus! And we have had the total honor of welcoming a few people through the doors who are asking for prayer, but we haven’t yet seen any of the local residents feel comfortable enough to come in – we can’t wait for that to happen ❤️
Yesterday felt like a significant moment of something shifting 🙌 Just as the guys were getting ready to head up the road with the sign (actually, I had stopped them to get a picture for this blog 😂) someone pulled up in their car and came in asking for prayer. It was someone who had been talking to a member of our team a few days before and had wanted to come after that conversation. So a couple of our guys headed inside with them to pray, which was wonderful! Meanwhile, 2 of the team headed on up with the sign while another 2 stayed at the outside door, ready to welcome anyone who might come along.
One thing we do when we’re waiting to pray with someone is to pray through a list of people we’ve come in contact with over the months we’ve been around. And sometimes when we’re praying, the Lord will reveal something of His heart for the area, and so we’ll pray into that for a wee minute ❤️
Around halfway through the session, I brought a wee cuppa up to the boys at the sign. They shared that they’d had a great wee chat with someone we used to know but whom we hadn’t seen for ages! It is always so wonderful to reconnect 😃 And they found out that even though this person loves Jesus, they haven’t been going to any church for a while, so the guys invited them along to our church 😃 I really hope they make it along and find their home there ❤️
Anyway, as I was walking back down to the community centre, I got to have a 2-minute chat with someone getting out of their car. It was a lovely lady who had heard a bit about what we were doing there and wanted to encourage us that we were doing a good thing. 😭❤️ How kind!
Then shortly after that, she ended up coming over to us for a wee chat at the door. As we talked, it came out that she had some health struggles, so we offered to pray with her. This lovely lady not only accepted prayer, but she also invited us into her home to pray with her then! What a privileged moment that was ❤️ And what a beautiful connection in the community! Thank You, Jesus 🙌
God is up to much, we just need to eyes to see Him ❤️🙌🥳
