We have a full day with no meetings or anything else planned in, and so we’ve started the day doing our readings and asking the Lord where He’d like us to go today. This is the first time we haven’t felt really sure! Neil wondered if we should go further away, like Cushendun & Chushendall – and he also had Glenarm in his mind. But he wasn’t feeling strongly that it was the Lord’s leading, more because it made sense time wise.

I had initially thought about places like that earlier – bit I didn’t necessarily think it was God saying it, it was more of a practical idea because we have a full day. I actually wrote in yesterday’s diary entry about maybe going further afield today because we have time – but honestly, even as I wrote that I felt that I shouldn’t write it just because of time?

Anyway, I had in my head I had the idea of praying in some of the bigger housing areas in our town. I’ve been thinking that since last week and started with one close to our church. I didn’t know if I was just thinking about the other ones because that isn’t finished yet? 

We tried to take a little more time to listen and I started to feel more strongly about the housing estates being first and then choosing a day next week to do Glenarm and Cushendall & Cushendun (but honestly I was having a hard time deciding if I was just being competitive and trying to be right or actually hearing the Lord’s voice 😭🤦🏻‍♀️)

Anyway, we’ve decided to do the local places today just incase the timing is from God on that one?  Please help us get better at hearing You Lord ❤️

It turns out I’m so glad we stayed local today 🥳👍 Neil wasn’t feeling 💯% so by the time we’d walked it was lunch time and he was knackered! And we had a great time out 🙌 We started off walking around an area close to our house and praying through the streets. We prayed for families, peace, and the Kingdom of God to break in to that place 🙌 Then we headed to a largely populated area behind us. As we walked all around it we prayed for God’s Kingdom to break out and for that area, which has had a chequered past, to become known as a place of His presence, His power and His love ❤️🙌

I feel full of faith for these areas! I can see a different future than what the past has dictated 🙌🙌 Come Holy Spirit 🙌🙌🙌
