The Glens and Coastal paths

It turns out the video we recorded on Friday didn’t work because we accidentally hit the mic lead and messed up the audio 🤦🏻‍♀️ So we started off the day recording that again!

I (Janet) had to ring to make an appointment for my finger, it’s been bust since August, and the lady I was speaking to on the phone was telling me what a rough morning she was having and how she wasn’t feeling well , so I was able to offer to pray for her! She said ‘oh would you please Janet!’ So I got to pray with her over the phone and afterward she said that I was ‘a God send’ ❤️

Anyway, today Neil thought we should go to Cushendall & Cushendun so we headed off.

The road to Cushendall was WILD!! It was a tiny track over a mountain 😂 But when we got to the end of it we found out if we’d found the main road we wouldn’t have been able to get through cos the road up to that point was closed, so it worked perfectly.

Neil & I are both reading ‘The Circle Maker’ at the minute and the author talks a lot about the Israelites taking Jericho. He says how if it had been up to them they’d probably have headed there with battering rams etc and tried to knock the walls down that way! But God asked them simply to walk around the walls quietly until the 7th time on the 7th day and then shout!

Of course we know the story, but he reminded us that as they obediently followed the voice of the Lord they walked into the answer to a 400 year old promise from God!!!

We’ve also heard of/read a couple of times over the last few days about God telling Joshua (and Abraham) He would give him everywhere he set his feet! We thought it was important for us to set our feet on the ground of the different places we were driving through today as we continued to explore the boarders of where God has called us!

When we got to Cushendun we parked down at the sea – it was totally gorgeous!! It’s really wee, but we were really taken with its beauty ❤️ We prayed that life would once again come to the tourist industry in these areas as we saw some hotels that were derelict. We prayed God’s blessing and creativity to be released in that area! We prayed that books would be written from Cushendun that would glorify God’s name 🙌 We also prayed this same prayer as we drove passed Dunluce Castle on our way home ❤️ More like CS Lewis ❤️🙌

We had a lovely day driving and prayer walking 🙌❤️

Neil thought we should drive home round the coastal route so we really explore the boarders 😃 So we drove back through Ballycastle, PortBallentrae, Bushmills, Portrush & Portstewart 😃 We stopped and ‘set our feet’ in each place ❤️🙌

We also popped in to see a friend, which was really encouraging (hopefully for us both) and when we got home Neil got the video ready and uploaded it and that was our day 😃
