Today is the 1st working day of this week for us 😃 Our son was off for the bank holiday on Monday so we took that off with him, and then yesterday was our daughter’s birthday which we always try to take off to celebrate her 💕 (We posted a wee blog post about her yesterday ❤️)

So this morning we spent a little time praying – in the garden because it is SUNNY 😎❤️🥳
Neil has been feeling a bit of a push to get his book finished (God had spoken to him last year asking him to write a book, so he’s been working on that) so he’s feeling he should really concentrate on that this week. I was praying but really wasn’t sure what today might look like? I did have a mini idea that I should just record a wee podcast on my own while Neil’s writing, but I didn’t have a clue what to talk about 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 So, when Neil went inside to get started on writing I stayed outside and prayed some more! In the end I felt like I should just share about God’s love for us and how life changing the truth of that can be when we get a hold of it! So I sat out in the sun and recorded a wee video about that. You can listen to that here if you’d like.

Also, I wanted to share in this post about how amazingly kind God has been over the last couple of days 😃 We got a wee message from some friends saying they thought God had some surprises lined up for us. I love surprises! Then yesterday we had someone call and offer to fill up our oil tank, we then had a message out of the blue encouraging us from someone we haven’t seen for ages, and I just now got a text from another friend encouraging us with a word from God that really makes sense with what we feel He’s been saying 🥳🙌 Beautiful surprises ❤️

The rest of today is quite meetingy – we have a wee FaceTime call with some friends, and then we’re heading for a wee catch up with a couple who we haven’t seen in over a year so that’ll be lovely 😃 Then Neil has some family stuff to help out with later this afternoon! So from not knowing how today was going to look, it’s turned into a fun and filled one 😃
