Can anything good come from……

This is the first journal entry since our Triangle prayer walking, so in some ways it feels a bit funny to do a ‘normal’ entry 😂👍 Today has been a great wee day. Neil started off the morning by helping out with some family stuff, and then we headed out to meet with some of our great friends. Time with them always fills our hearts and builds our faith. I highly recommend finding people to spend time with who remind you to lift your eyes up, and who bring joy and life to your day when you see them 😃 Our friends we met today are some of those kind of people in our lives ❤️😃

When we got home we recorded a wee podcast and Neil finished writing a blog post. We’re getting ready to head away on holidays this weekend, and so we wanted to get a couple of things ready for while we’re away 😃 This afternoon I met up with my friend Amanda and we did some prayer walking around Coleraine 🙌 God has been so kind in showing us some of His dreams for our town and so it is a total pleasure to pray those prophetic promises as we walk around our streets. We went a slightly different route today than where we’ve gone before. Today we headed straight up to the train station and then did a wee loop around the outside of town and back into the centre. It was lovely to spend time praying for hope and God’s presence to be released all over our town 🙌

As we look around our town and listen to the way some people talk about it, it can get a little hard to remember what it is that God has said about it! I totally love our town, but not everyone feels the same way about it! It reminds me a little of that part in the Bible when someone asks ‘can anything good come from Nazareth?’ 😂 As part of our walk today we called into a Bible shop that is owned by a friend of ours. It was amazing! It’s a new shop and it was our first visit! The presence of God in there was amazing – it was so peaceful and beautiful ❤️ Going on from there it felt easier to prophetically see our town as God sees it ❤️ And so we prayed with faith that all the things God has spoken over our area would begin to be seen and known by everyone around! As we neared the end of our walk we came to a bridge where sadly, over a number of years, some people have lost their lives to suicide. So we took some time as we stood in that place to pray for life and safety, and for hope to arise in peoples’ hearts where they have previously felt hopeless ❤️

Our God is amazing, and His promises are true, and so, we will keep praying over our town the things the Lord has spoken until we see them come to pass ❤️🙌
