I (Janet) thought I’d post a little round up style post today of this past week 😃

It’s been a really fun week that started off on Monday with me meeting a friend for a cuppa and a catch-up! She’s been so super encouraging throughout these first months of theonehundredyearsproject, and she is one of our amazing friends who is praying with us in this adventure! It was good for my heart 😃 At the same time, Neil was home working on his book! It’s really coming together – I got to read some more of it this week, and it is fab!! I’m so excited that he’s doing this, and I can’t wait to see what’s on God’s heart for it when it’s finished!

After lunch, we recorded a wee podcast video, and then the sweetest thing happened on Monday afternoon! A lady from our church contacted me to say she’d love to bless me with some clothes she was wanting to give away!! So I went over to her house, we had a lovely time having a wee cuppa, and she gave me a full bag of beautiful clothes to take home with me! God really does provide for us in the most creative, kind, and extravagantly generous ways ❤️ What a gorgeous surprise!

On Tuesday morning, we had a wee coffee with a couple from church, and then in the afternoon, while Neil was home doing some writing, I went out to meet a friend for a walk, which was lovely! Wednesday was all about Miracle Halls for us!!! We posted a wee blog all about day 1 of Miracle Halls a few days ago 🥳❤️ It was so much fun to get going with that!!!!

Yesterday I was getting set up to film a wee training video for our Miracle Halls team… but before I could get started, I accidentally tipped A WHOLE MUG of coffee all over the laptop 😩🤦🏻‍♀️😭 Horrendous! I still have no idea how I actually did that, but needless to say, that postponed the recording for a bit as we frantically cleaned up and set up the quickest appointment possible to get the laptop looked at 😬 That means a trip to the Apple Store tomorrow to see if the laptop is redeemable.

Anyway, after that drama, I did end up getting the training video recorded (on my phone 😬👍), and then I was able to write up the Miracle Halls blog and do some other admin-type things!

This morning was such a fun one! Biscuit (our dog) and I headed into town for a wee prayer walk first thing – it’s a walk we’ve done, and prayed around, quite a few times before, and one I’ve written about before, but again I was blown away as I walked around remembering what God has done here, and as I sang (quietly 😂) and prayed about the words God has given us about our town, I could really feel the presence of God and His dreams that are written over this beautiful place where we live ❤️ Come, Holy Spirit 🙌

I can’t believe it’s the weekend again!! What a great wee week!
