Goodness me, it’s already Thursday!!! Time goes fast!!! This week we’ve been feeling a bit of a sense of ‘newness’ to our rhythms, which has been fun! But also, we’ve all been feeling a little bit under the weather in our house, which isn’t so much fun 😬 Neil’s days are really filling up – with good stuff! He’s been working away at the final parts of writing his book, and he has a bit of admin type stuff to do around the onehundredyearsproject, while also working on some leadership stuff that friends of ours asked for a bit of help with. Neil is such an amazing teacher/trainer, and seeing him get the opportunity to work in that way fills my heart with so much joy 🙌

It’s so fun to see how the rhythms of 2026 are already quite different from last year! Right at the beginning of January, the 3 of us Youngs went out for breakfast and were dreaming a little together about some things we were hoping for this year! Really, we just shared with each other some things we’d love to see, but we didn’t know if they were dreams from God or just our own hearts! So we chatted about them and then laid them all at the Lord’s feet as an offering, only wanting them to happen if they were from Him ❤️🙌 Well, almost immediately (within a few days), we started to see the Lord leading us into some of those dreams, and it has kept happening through the weeks since then too—which is blowing our minds, by the way!!

One of the things that Neil shared at breakfast that morning was about doing a bit more training-type stuff again – he loves it so much and he was starting to feel ready to lean into that again! Since we chatted as a family, Neil hasn’t reached out to ask anyone if they’d like him to do stuff for them or anything; he literally said it and then left it alone with God! But God has opened up at least two in-person invitations and a written thing (which is what he’s been working on this week 👍) just since that day!!! God is truly amazing!!! We feel humbled and blown away all at the same time ❤️🥳🙌😭❤️

Other things that have been going on this week are that we’ve been on a few prayer walks – Neil went walking a couple of mornings, really more as a way to keep exploring ways of growing and strengthening his prayer life! And this morning I went for a wee early morning walk with my friend Amanda, who is my prayer walking buddy for the dreams we feel God has spoken over our local town. 🙌❤️

Outside of that, we’ve recorded a wee podcast and met up with a couple of people!

Sadly, over the last couple of weeks, we’ve also attended two different funerals of people who were both part of the church we used to lead and whom we loved deeply. ❤️ It’s been sad to go to those, but also a deep honor to be able to go as a way of showing love to special people in our area. ❤️

Yesterday we also kicked back into Miracle Halls again after a wee half-term break! It was so good to get going again! It was a really quiet day yesterday, even out on the street – mostly because it was a FREEZING and super wet day, so people weren’t really out and about as much or up for standing too long for a chat 😱 But as a team, we took some time to pray for people who we know are needing a miracle right now and for some people we’ve had the privilege of meeting through doing Miracle Halls. That was wonderful 🙌

Overall, it’s been a busier week (for Neil more than me, really). We’re loving life, and we’re excited for a wee chilled weekend coming our way ❤️
