I wanted to share about a fun wee day we had yesterday! On Monday, Neil was out prayer walking and he was asking God if there were other places He would like us to go and pray around. Into his mind popped the name of a particular place – a fairly random one. When he told me about it I couldn’t even remember if I’d heard of it before – if I have, it took me a minute to remember 😂 We weren’t sure where it was, but when we opened Maps to search for it we realized it was about 2 hours away!

Well, I guess we don’t get to pick and choose where God wants us to go. 😂

So, we decided we would go down yesterday and pray around it!

It’s so much fun to live the adventure of following God!! He is ALIVE, and He invites us to follow Him into all sorts of fun moments 🥳 Honestly, we didn’t know if this was a God invitation for sure, but we went for it as though we were 100% certain! God is so kind, and He loves fun, so honestly, even if we had misheard Him while trying to hear Him, I believe He would still love that ❤️

When we got to our destination, we discovered it was one wee street with some houses, a little green area with a visitor center and a tearoom, a little coffee van, a very pretty river path for walking and cycling, a little train stop, a hairdresser, a pub, and 2 churches! 😂 And that was it! So our actual prayer walk didn’t take too long at all!

BUT – I had felt like part of us going down was to ‘plow the ground’ so to speak. I felt that as we prayed, we were going to be part of preparing the way for someone else to come behind us and see amazing things of God and His Kingdom coming in that place! I had a feeling that we had a part in blessing this place, but it was for the sake of other people, not really for us! So as we walked up and down the wee street, we prayed for the spiritual significance of that place and for revival to break out from there to the places all around it! We prayed that it would be known as a place of hope, peace, love, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work 🙌

It was so much fun just to go and bless a little place that we wouldn’t naturally have thought about or even remembered, knowing that not only does God remember it, He actually knows every single person who lives there, and He has dreams written over their lives and the place where they live ❤️🙌

Also, on the way down the road, we stopped in for a wee cuppa with some amazing friends who live down that way. 😃 We haven’t caught up for ages, and it was so wonderful to hang out with them! They are always so encouraging, and our hearts felt full at the end of our time together. ❤️😃

Such a fun day, and now we’re excited about heading into a wee weekend together 🥳 …and the sun is even shining today too, which is the icing on the cake 🎂☀️❤️
