Prayer, Haircuts, and even some dancing!

This was a bit of a quieter week for us πŸ˜ƒ It was St. Patrick’s Day, so Caleb was off school for the first couple of days of the week – we took them off too πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ It was so much fun to take a couple of days together. We celebrated Neil’s mum’s birthday with a Nando’s, watched some movies, and enjoyed some rest together. On Tuesday we also had a call with some new friends who lead a church in England – hopefully we will get to visit them at some point and see more of what God is doing there.

On Wednesday morning, Neil met up with someone who is going through a painful time at the moment. ❀️ It is such an honor when people invite you to journey with them in moments of need, and we get to pray for God’s peace and presence. ❀️ While Neil was out, I got to meet up with another friend for a wee walk, which was so lovely! Last week, I had felt God put her into my head, so we arranged a wee catch-up. πŸ˜ƒ I find it so much fun to follow wee prompts from the Holy Spirit in normal everyday moments! He is always writing little adventures into our days. πŸ™Œ

In the afternoon, we had Miracle Halls – and it was so much fun! Because the weather wasn’t absolutely balmy πŸ₯Ά there were more people out and about, which was great for the team standing at the road sign! They got to have a few wee chats with some people, helped someone practically with a breakdown, and got to pray with someone who is going through some painful family stuff at the minute ❀️ One of the other fun parts for the team at the road has been the bus routes that come past. During the couple of hours, 4 buses come in and stop. Now that we have been doing this since September, there are some familiar faces who wave, and there is now a group of school kids who wave from the bus and give Neil dance moves he has to copy on the roadside – much to their amusement!!! πŸ˜‚

Also, we had the privilege of praying with a couple of ladies who came to the community centre for prayer. They had met a couple of our team years ago when they were involved in a ministry that prayed for people for healing ❀️ This family had come needing prayer for a serious illness, and they received miraculous healing – and things are still going great for them πŸ˜ƒ

They hadn’t seen each other in a good while but bumped into each other this last weekend! Our team let them know that if they ever needed prayer for anything now, they were so welcome to pop into Miracle Halls any Wednesday! The timing of this is amazing because just 2 days later this family found themselves in a place where they did need prayer. They hadn’t known when they bumped into our guys at the weekend, but we feel that God had it set up so they’d see each other, so they’d know where to come when they got their news at the start of the week ❀️ So they came to Miracle Halls on Wednesday, and we were able to pray with them β€οΈπŸ™Œ God really sees and loves people so beautifully!

On Thursday, Neil was doing some final edits to his book πŸ₯³ and I was able to help out one of our friends who needed some support at the minute ❀️. In the afternoon, Neil and I took our doggo for a walk on the beach in the sunshine, which was amazing β€οΈβ˜€οΈπŸ˜Ž

And now it’s Friday! This week has felt fast! We’ve just recorded a wee podcast, and I’m about to meet up with someone for a wee catch-up! They’re someone who really loves to adventure with Jesus, and I’m excited to chat and hear what the Lord is putting on their heart at the minute. πŸ˜ƒ

I have had a wee idea for a blog post in my head for the last couple of days too, so I’m going to try and get that written down a bit later today. πŸ‘

Then here’s to a lovely sunny weekend πŸ˜Žβ˜€οΈβ€οΈ

Ps – we were a bit rubbish with photos this week, so these are a little more random than normal πŸ˜‚
