What a gorgeous day! The sun is shining today (and actually, it has been really lovely and sunny this whole week ☀️🥳) Don’t you think the sun just makes everything feel a little bit better? 😎🤩❤️ Haha, or maybe it feels that way to me because where we live is quite often pretty wet and gray, so anytime the sun shines, everybody is out and about and in such good spirits. It’s such a lovely change from our normal weather! 😂👍

Anyway, we had Miracle Halls yesterday, and we had such a great day! Firstly, I want to share an amazing story about God answering prayer that we got to hear yesterday 🙌. There is a gorgeous mom and daughter who have been coming over the last few weeks to get prayer while they were waiting for an appointment to have something checked out. It was a long wait for them, and based on some other factors, a worrying wait. (These are the same girls we shared about a few weeks ago, whom God had reconnected with a couple from our team after years of not seeing each other!)

They finally had the appointment they had been waiting for this week, and yesterday they returned to Miracle Halls to thank God, because at the appointment they received the amazing news that everything was all clear. 🙌🥳❤️ Thank You, Jesus! 🙌🙌🙌 It was so incredible to share in their joy and to be thankful to God for His protection over them and for such a clear and quick answer. 🥳

As this was happening, another lady came in who hadn’t been before. She shared with us how she lives about an hour away from here but had heard about our church. She had learned that we hold an Encounter service on Wednesday evenings, so she had come this way to check it out. She drove around the area where we meet for church just to make sure she knew where to go that evening, and as she was driving, she saw our sign offering prayer!

God had the whole thing taken care of because our usual Wednesday evening service wasn’t actually on this week. However, when we told her about what we were doing with Miracle Halls, she mentioned that the reason she’d been looking for us was that she needed prayer for a serious illness she is facing right now! How amazing is this lady’s faith that she came looking for prayer somewhere she didn’t know! I love that pursuit of Jesus. 🙌❤️

So we were able to invite her in and had the privilege of hearing some of her story before praying together with her! I love how God took care of the details for her and met her in her hunger to find Him ❤️ It reminds me of Jer 29:13 in the Bible: ‘13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’ So beautiful ❤️

While Neil’s been away this week, Caleb and I have been spending time with Jesus together in the mornings – usually Neil and Caleb are the early birds together 😂 For the last 18 months or so, they’ve been taking a journey of discipleship, and as a part of that, they get up early every morning and read through the Bible together ❤️🙌 Neil gets home tonight 🥳 So for our last early morning, Caleb and I decided we’d spend our time with Jesus while we had a little breakfast out before school 🤩 Our times with Jesus have looked a little different than how they look for my boys. (I love how creative God is, and I love that He’s designed us all differently so that we can connect with Him in SO MANY different ways 🙌🥳)

We’ve been loving watching YouTube shorts of a guy who shares the things he’s learning during his time with Jesus! Before we watch, we pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the Father to us, and then when the video is over, we have a little chat about it and how we can learn from it, and then we pray again! It’s pretty relaxed, and it’s been so much fun and super encouraging 🙌 This morning was a fabulous way to start the day 🥳❤️

When I got home from the bus run, I spent a bit more time with Jesus by watching our sister and brother-in-law’s church service from Sunday online, which was so fun! 🙌 Earlier, when I’d been asking God about what He’d like today to look like for me, I thought I might go to a coffee shop to write the blog today – and that’s what I’m doing right now! 😂👍 Then, this afternoon, I’m meeting up with my friend for a walk in the sun. ☀️

And tonight, Caleb and I are heading to the airport to pick Neil up! 🥳❤️🤩 We can’t wait to have him home! 🥳❤️
