Goodness me, we have not been great at keeping up to date with our blog recently 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m going to try and do a little round-up here of the last week or so, and then I will TRY and post a bit more regularly again from here on 🫣

I think in our last post my boys had just got back from their Liverpool trip, and we were jumping into a new week with theonehundredyearsproject 😃 And now here we are, nearly at the end of the next week!!! Time goes fast!! The rest of last week went so well — although we did have a garden that needed clearing, and the day we went to work on that the sun was shining ☀️🙌 so we made the rookie mistake of wearing short sleeves 🤦🏻‍♀️ Our arms now have a few new war wounds, but we’ve learned a lesson 😂😬🤦🏻‍♀️ Haha, sorry, that probably isn’t very relevant to theonehundredyearsproject 😂

In other news, we had another great week at Miracle Halls last week. We had one family come in for prayer, which was wonderful, and the team up at the sign met a few people and got to pray with someone too, which was so good! Our community really needs to know the life-changing love of Jesus, and we continue to be so aware of how the atmosphere will change the more we keep turning up ❤️

During the rest of the week, we had a few meetings with people, and I was able to help someone out who needed a lift to the airport, so that was great! Neil also heard back from our friend about his book, and it was super encouraging ❤️😃 We’re now really praying and asking the Lord about how we take the next steps with the book and how He would like it to go! It’s exciting, and we are just super keen to hear God’s heart so we can keep walking in step with Him and praying what He wants ❤️

Aww, we got some great news about Caleb’s wrist at the end of last week 🥳 He got his cast off, and they’re pretty sure it’s not fractured! Thank You, Jesus 🙌🥳 He celebrated by going to football training the day he got the cast off 😬🫣😂💪 Thankfully, all went well and he’s feeling so good!!! Caleb was also playing in his school rock concert last week, which was so much fun! His school is brilliant at investing in the kids and giving them opportunities to be creative! It was a great wee evening and a great time to connect and chat with other parents and teachers!

I feel like I should mention that at the weekend our local town was playing football in the Irish Cup Final… and they WON 🏆🥳 It has been amazing over the last few weeks to see how the town has really got behind the team! There have been flags and banners up on lampposts and bridges all around the place, and local shops have decorated their front windows in the team colours with messages of support! It has been amazing to see the effect of the community all coming together to celebrate 🥳

The actual game was played in Belfast (about an hour away from us), and I think over 7,000 fans — including my boys and a couple of our friends — travelled to be there!!! They said the atmosphere was class! And back home in the centre of our town, they put up a screen and set out chairs to show the match — it was such a brilliant community moment!! I know it might seem like it’s only football, or nothing to do with theonehundredyearsproject, but we believe that any moment like this in a community is worth celebrating!!! It might not be the fullness of God’s dreams for here, but it is definitely a part of it, and so we take time to mark it and celebrate a glimpse of God’s heart for bringing our community together ❤️🥳
