Wooooooo Hoooooooo!!!!! We have just celebrated 1 whole year of Miracle Halls 🥳❤️ The reason we said ‘and a wee bit’ is because we actually missed the official date by a week 🤦🏻♀️😂 But once we realised, we celebrated 🥳 I can’t believe it’s been a year already!! Since the very first week we’ve been blown away by our amazing team – they are so faithful, and come with the best hearts to love our community so beautifully! And they are full of faith for God to move miraculously in people’s lives 🙌
Many of the days throughout this year have been very quiet, with no-one coming in for prayer. But we’ve all known that God is asking us to do this, and so we keep showing up, expectant for God to open the doors and move in His miraculous power 🙌 We also know that every single time we, as followers of Jesus, pray, something WILL happen! We don’t always get to see the results of our prayers straight away, and actually sometimes we may never get to know what has happened, BUT, when we pray with faith, God’s Kingdom comes!!! So even in the quiet weeks we have been encouraged to keep going, and keep turning up with faith and expectancy for what God is already doing, and what He wants to do going forward!
Not every week has been quiet however, and we’ve got to meet some incredible people in our community who need to know the love of Jesus for them ❤️ We’ve had some brilliant conversations, and opportunities to pray with people as they’ve been walking past, or waiting for their bus, and each time that happens our hearts have filled with joy, love, and a hunger and expectation for more! We’ve also had the absolute privilege of being invited into one lady’s home to pray with her for healing. And we’ve got to welcome a number of others into the Community Centre to receive prayer for a wide range of things that they are facing, from work issues to physical healing. What an honour it is when people invite you into their story ❤️
And we have seen some beautiful answers to prayer over this year! We’ve heard of people being healed, or seeing some improvement, after they received prayer! We’ve seen people coming in who are worried about their job security, and then hearing later that everything worked out well for them in that! And we’ve welcomed people back a few times for prayer, and other times as they’ve wanted to share their thankfulness for what God has done in their lives as a result of praying together ❤️🙌 What an utter joy it has been to love our community in this way over this last year!
We feel that Miracle Halls, along with all the other parts of theonehundredyearsproject, is an act of obedience to God. And so we want to keep praying, asking Him how He wants things to look going forward. We ask God things like, does He want us to continue the way things are going? Does He want us to open other locations for more Miracle Halls? Or, does He want us to close Miracle Halls down? We don’t have our own agenda around what we’re doing apart from wanting to follow God’s heart and His voice with every single step! So far we think we need to keep going, but we also felt God say to keep our eyes and ears open after Miracle Halls had been running for a year – so we’re excited to see what God has up His sleeve moving forward 😃
At the end of a fab first year, we are so thankful for all that God has done – both what we know about, and what we don’t! We are also super thankful for our wonderful, encouraging, faith-filled, team! And we are excitedly expectant for what God does in this next year ❤️🥳🙌
